Prerequisite
- No prerequisite is required.
- Discipleship Training School (DTS) is not required in order to do the Biblical Core Course (BCC).
What is BCC?
Biblical Core Course (BCC) is a three month program that looks to help one deepen their understanding of the scriptures through the Inductive Bible Study method.
The goal of Inductive Bible Study is to understand the original author’s point of view and how the original reader would have understood the message and then apply it to our lives.
Each week a speaker will teach on a different book of the bible looking at the cultural, political/religious background, and the different types of figures of speech used and much more. We practice color coding the scriptures, reading each book, several times to get a fuller, deeper understanding of what is written.
This is a great course to be equipped with and if you lack motivation to read the bible, this course can change that.
Based on Isaiah 41:9-10, we see a gathering of peoples from every nation…
Our aim is to equip non-English speakers with practical and useful English. Based on Isaiah 41:9-10, we see a gathering of peoples from every nation, learning and growing together and then being sent off back into the world to proclaim Jesus, and act on God’s call in their life.
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:9, 10
