To make a donation to YWAM Global Gateway, or one of our staff, please select one of the options below. For details on each option, please click on "Read More". Once you have decided on your giving method, press the blue button associated with your choice. A new window will open and you will be directed to the appropriate page. For e-transfer, you can right-click on the appropriate button and copy our email address to your clipboard to be used in your online banking.​
For E-transfer:Â If making a donation towards a specific ministry or missionary, please specify in the notes or fill out a pledge card (if donating in person). To obtain a tax receipt please also include your full name and mailing address. PLEASE NOTE: Funds sent to one of our missionaries via this option will go directly towards covering their staff fees. If they do not pay staff fees, please select a different option. For Cheques: Â If making a donation towards a specific ministry or missionary, please specify in the memo or fill out a pledge card (if donating in person). To obtain a tax receipt, please email us with your full name and mailing address or include this information on the envelope (if mailing your cheque). For Project Funding: This option saves us work! YWAM Project funding processes tax receipts for us. A 5% expense recovery is deducted from every donation received to cover administrative costs. Donations received through 3rd party credit card processing sites such as CanadaHelps and Charitable Impact are subject to additional service charges at time of processing. Funds are deposited in our account on the 25th of each month. If you would like to get money directly into the hands of one of our full-time, Canadian missionaries, this may be the best option for you. Please contact the missionary you would like to support, directly, to obtain their giving code. Our base giving code is YG18
For Mission Enablers: If you are an American Donor, this option will best serve you! Mission Enablers partners with YWAM Project funding to offer a tax creditable giving option for American donors. Mission Enablers International has a 3.5% administrative processing fee for online donations and cash/check donations. However, this fee increases to 6.5% for online donations with Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal, and 7.45% with American Express and Discover. If you are an American donor and would like to get money directly into the hands of one of our full-time, Canadian missionaries, this may be the best way. Please contact the missionary you would like to support directly to obtain their giving code. Our YWAM Base giving code is YG18
For PayPal: Paypal is another quick and easy way to give online. Please note that processing fees do apply and vary depending on your payment method and location. ON YOUR END: Using PayPal Balance or Bank Account: Free. Using a Credit or Debit Card: Typically 2.90% + a fixed fee. International Transactions: Incur a currency conversion fee, around 4%, in addition to other potential fees. ON OUR END: Standard Online payments: the fee is often 2.90% + a fixed fee. American Express Transactions: May have different rates, such as 3.50% + a fixed fee. International payments: We can expect to pay a higher percentage, sometimes around 4.4% + the fixed fee applicable to the customer's country. For these reasons, PayPal is in many cases our last choice. If making a donation towards a specific ministry or missionary, please send us a separate email with details or fill out a pledge card (if donating in person). To obtain a tax receipt please also include your full name and mailing address on your pledge card or in the email. NOTE: We cannot issue tax receipts to international donors. For American donors who would like a tax receipt, please give via Mission Enablers. PLEASE NOTE: Funds sent to one of our missionaries via this option will go directly towards paying staff fees. If they do not pay staff fees, please select a different option.
