What is an Overcomer DTS?

The Overcomer DTS is packed with challenges, trails and adventure. It carries a UNIQUE FOCUS on OVERCOMING SELF, OTHER’S, CULTURE, the DEVIL & one's VIEWS OF GOD.

We will also develop our LEADERSHIP SKILLS as well as grow in the area of TEAMWORK, SURRENDER and SERVANT-HOOD.

The structure of this DTS program is specially set up to know God and fulfill the vision of being an OVERCOMER. Each week, we will have a different theme and a challenge to overcome. This DTS will challenge you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually with the intention to gain mastery over self. We're gonna ask tough questions and dig deep into our faith. We want to see breakthroughs and at the end of it, we will come out with unforgettable stories!

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

Disciplines to Strengthen our Faith

We discipline ourselves to strengthen our wills in order to give ourselves more fully to God and neighbor.

"Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified."

1 Corinthians 9:25-27

One cannot give what one does not own. I cannot give you a pencil if I don't own it first. The same holds true for self. In order to give oneself away, to love, one must first possess self. Therefore, self-mastery or possession of self is required. And self-mastery only comes by denying the inordinate (immoderate; excessive) desires of the flesh through self-denial and leaning in upon God's grace

We want our 'Yes" to God to be greater than our 'Yes' to sin.

Our 'Yes' becomes greater by living for God and spending quality time with Him.  Hence spiritual & physical disciplines are necessary. These along with Small Group & One on Ones will also play a crucial role to our growth in our faith journey.

Small Groups

We break off into two separate groups: Men and Women.  Its a time where we strengthen one another. We look to encourage, challenge, share our struggles and process what we are learning.

One on One's

Each Participant is set up with a staff member to walk alongside with. One on One's is a time where participants are able to receive guidance, ask questions, process the lectures, receive prayer and more.
