It carries a UNIQUE FOCUS on OVERCOMING SELF, OTHER’S, CULTURE, the DEVIL and one's
VIEWS OF GOD.
Each week, we will have a different theme and a challenge to overcome.

ADVENTURES in the OVERCOMER DTS
White Water Rafting
We will be doing a 1 day trip on "The Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator rafting trip (located in Squamish, BC) is one of our most popular rafting adventures. (Their) talented team of professional river guides will teach you the skills necessary to ride big waves and catch air as you navigate down the Class 3-4 Elaho and Squamish Rivers. Your courage will be tested as you travel through the infamous “Devil’s Elbow” section of the rapids, as seen on TV’s famous Eco-Challenge Adventure Race. Depending on the water levels, you’ll also be able to swim through some small rapids and enjoy a few laughs as your crewmates scramble to stay on board.
Along with some of North America’s most exhilarating rapids, your river journey will take you through approximately 10 miles of British Columbia’s most inspiring wilderness."

NIKO WEEK
A taste of one of the Adventures & Challenges within the
OVERCOMER DTS.
NIKO is a Greek word pronounced “nee-ko”. It means “to subdue, conquer, OVERCOME, prevail, and get the victory.”
NIKO is a five day wilderness, leadership training program. We will be in the outdoors developing our leadership skills as well as a high priority placed on teamwork, surrender and servanthood..
Okanagan Adventure Park
We will be travelling to Kelowna, BC (1.5 hrs away from Oliver) for a day to do an Adventure Course.
"You’ll start with a training session on the ground to get comfortable using the ziplines and the continuous belay system. Then, you’ll climb up a ladder and start making your way from tree to tree by walking across tightropes, climbing up cargo nets, sliding down ziplines, flying through the air on rope swings, leaping onto swinging logs, and balancing on wobbly bridges. Finally, you’ll celebrate your amazing accomplishment - maybe by going again! " Statement taken from their Website.

Outreach
We are traveling to the "I Nation". For 11 weeks, one will have a cross cultural experience. Here, our participants will be fully submersed in a missionary life. This time will be exciting as we are coming out with unforgettable stories of how God moved and the adventure He took us on.
